January 6, at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street – “What We Love Can Be Saved.” Rev. Amy Beltaine will address the issue of how you can be the change you wish to see in the world. The struggles around the world for justice, peace and against violence can be overwhelming and it is easy to feel small and helpless. But step-by-step even the longest march will reach a destination. Learn where we can find the strength to carry on.

Rev. Amy Beltaine is a traveling Spiritual Director providing Sunday services, retreats and spiritual mentoring as a UU ministry.  She’s the recent President of the Covenant of UU Pagans (CUUPS) and is involved in many other spiritual endeavors. When Hawthorne & Amy are not traveling, they live in Portland, Oregon with their beagle, Zim and their cat, Annie. Rev. Beltaine also does one-on-one spiritual mentoring.

Although this is not a Family Program Sunday, childcare will be available.

There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are always welcome.
