Jan.13 at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street  – “Why I Wrote “God’s Umbrella: Southwest New Mexico World War II Survivors” - Grant County Beat editor Mary Alice Murphy began collecting interviews with World War II survivors and others involved in the war when she was a reporter for the Silver City Daily Press. After leaving the Press, she kept discovering more World War II veterans, and continued to meet and talk with them about their experiences. The book is a compilation of 81 interviews.

This is a Family Program Sunday and during January the UU Children's Program will continue our exploration of intangible gifts. Our topic for January 13 is "The Gift of Helping." Giving children the "gift of participation" is a great way to start off the New Year... please join us!

There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are always welcome.
