Our local Gila Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen support wildfire preparation, so get prepared to survive wildfire or any emergency by attending a free emergency preparation and evacuation event in the Tractor Supply parking lot in Silver City on Saturday, Feb 2, from noon-2 p.m.

With the recent catastrophic Camp Fire of California in mind, you can learn about defensible space around your own property; evacuating your pets, horses, other livestock; when to evacuate; what to do, and where to go. A “Grab-and-Go” list plus other helpful information will be on hand. Emergency personnel will be available to answer your specific questions.
