For the week beginning Monday, January 14, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. and ending Monday January 21, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 246 calls for service, had 623 self-initiated activity, and made 18 arrests. Of those arrests, 1 was for possession of a controlled substance.  No arrests were made for DWI.

Included in the above calls for service are 8 alarms, 4 fight calls, 16 domestic disturbance, 2 larceny, 4 criminal damage to property, 4 traffic complaints, 3 narcotic violations, 3 suspicious vehicle, 2 fraud/embezzlement, 6 shoplifting, 1 abandoned 911, 9 harassment, 19 welfare check, 18 animal complaints, 3 breaking & entering, 3 reckless driver, 16 motorist/citizen assist, 1 custodial interference, 2 injuring and tampering, with a motor vehicle, 7 private property accident, 2 hit & run accident, 5 vehicle accident no injuries, 1 accident with injuries.
