For the week, beginning Monday, March 4, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. and ending Monday March 11, 2019 at 8:00 a.m.,Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 220 calls for service, had 365 self-initiated activity, and made 19 arrests. Of those arrests, 1 was for distribution of a controlled substance, 2 were for possession of a controlled substance, 3 possession of drug paraphernalia, 1 DWI, and 1 battery on a house hold member.   

Included in the above calls for service are 14 alarm, 2 fight calls, 2 domestic disturbance, 1 criminal sexual penetration, 3 criminal damage to property, 4 agency assist, 5 loud music, 1 unattended death, 1 battery, 1 narcotic violation, 9 suspicious vehicle, 4 shoplifting, 1 DVO violation, 8 harassment, 18 welfare checks, 24 animal complaints, 10 reckless driver, 6 unwanted subjects, 8 suspicious person, 28 citizen assists, 4 text harassment, 2 vehicle accident no injuries, 2 accident property damage, 1 hit & run accident, 3 private property accident.
