 WNMU Regents To Consider Two Items

What: The Western New Mexico University Board of Regents meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Western New Mexico University (1000 W. College Ave.). The board will re-visit the University’s strategic plan, presented for consideration by President Dr. Joseph Shepard and Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost Jack Crocker. Additionally, the board will consider changes to the WNMU staff handbook including staff senate election reform and new regulations relating to term lengths. Who: Regents Janice Baca-Argabright, Dr. Carl Foster, Jerry Walz, Mary Hotvedt and Timothy (Tim) Stillman will represent their respective committees. Western New Mexico University President Dr. Joseph Shepard and other senior vice presidents will speak on some of the action items. The following people may give reports: President of Staff Senate Dean Foster, President of Faculty Senate Dr. Scott Fritz and President Shepard.

When: The WNMU Board of Regents is holding a workshop on Monday, March 25, and will hold an executive session beginning at 8 a.m. The regular session and board meeting begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26.
