Come create unique Mother’s Day Greeting Cards at the Grant County Art Guild Gallery Saturday, May 4 from 10 am - 5 pm. The Gallery is located at 316 N. Bullard at the intersection with Market St. Look for the purple Hester House building in historic downtown Silver City. This event is free to all ages, refreshments will be served, and inspirational sample cards and supplies will be on hand. We’ll sprinkle you with early Mother’s Day cheer while you sprinkle glitter and happiness on handmade cards for the special women in your life.
Also this week we welcome Racers and watchers to the 2019 Tour of the Gila cycling stage race. Enjoy your ride and visit to Silver City.
And, as a proud member of the Silver City Art Association, the Guild would like to wish all SCAA Studio members the best of luck during this week's Opening Gala and Studio Tours.
Saturday, May 11
Refreshments will be served again Saturday, May 11 during the Second Saturday Art Walk. This event is sponsored by Silver City Art Association and member galleries stay open late for this walk from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Come out and tour the Galleries, enjoy a Saturday evening walk in our historic district, and have a nibble on us before your main course at one of the great downtown eateries.
