SILVER CITY- NMSU Grant County Cooperative Extension Service will host an alfalfa and forage production workshop on May 22, 2019 from 3-5pm at the Grant County Cooperative Extension Office located at 2610 N. Silver St. in Silver City, NM

This event is free and open to the public. A guest lecture will be heard from Mark Marsalis, NMSU Forage Specialist on topics such as common forage issues, irrigation and management tips as well as pest control practices. “This workshop is not something commonly offered in our area but will be extremely beneficial to forage producers in the area” said Swapp.
