In support of the May 11 Spring Walkabout hosted by the Silver City Art Association in downtown, Silver City MainStreet is sponsoring a Scavenger Hunt. The Scavenger Hunt will only be available to complete on Saturday, May 11, and can be picked up and returned to the Visitor Center located at 201 N. Hudson St. from 9 am to 4:30 pm.

The free Scavenger Hunt drawing includes galleries and shops participating in the Spring Walkabout. “It’s a busy weekend with Give Grandly and the Farmers Market happening downtown along with the Spring Walkabout. We wanted to participate in a fun way to support the businesses,’ said Patrick Hoskins, Board President of Silver City MainStreet.

“Completed scavenger hunts will be eligible for the free drawing. The prize is a weekend get-a-way to Carlsbad that includes 2 free nights at Fiddler's Inn, 2 Free Pirate Training adventures with the Pirates of the Pecos, a $25 gift card to dining at the Trinity Hotel, and a free guided tour at Carlsbad Caverns National Park. We want to thank Carlsbad MainStreet for donating the prizes.”
