Luanne Brooten is an artist who uses recycled materials whenever possible. She uses watercolor, pen and ink, acrylic, and mixed media for paintings and recycled fabrics and trims to make her own line of one of a kind clothing and bags.
Luanne’s paintings are often inspired by the Mimbreno Indian culture or the beautiful landscapes of New Mexico.
Bright colors and unique design choices are always part of Luanne’s work. She paints on stretched canvas, mounted watercolor paper, boxes, gourds, round and rectangular trays, and more.
Come visit Grant County Art Guild Gallery, 316 N. Bullard in Historical Downtown Silver City to see the work of Luanne and over 30 other artists.
