Deming: The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office (NMDOT) has posted an alert for Monday July 8, 2019:

The New Mexico Department of Transportation will have intermittent personnel and equipment on the roadway for bridge deck repairs. Traffic will encounter lane closures on the eastbound lanes. Speed limits will be reduced to 45 mph, closures and traffic control shall remain in place 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Construction hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and is expected to be completed by fall 2019.
