“To Bee or Not to Bee” is the topic of the Silver City Rotary Club meeting on Tuesday, July 9, when Susan Clair, the founder of Grant County Beekeepers, and Glen Outzs, a new beekeeper, will be the speakers.

The public is always invited to attend Rotary Club meetings that are of interest to them. The Silver City Rotary Club meets at noon every Tuesday for lunch in the Sunset Room of the WNMU Student Cafeteria in the WNMU Student Memorial Building at 1000 College Avenue. There is no charge to attend the meeting, but guests are asked to contribute $20 if they wish to join the Rotarians in eating a hot lunch with salad, dessert, and coffee or iced tea.

Future meetings include a July 16 Rotary membership video from the recent Rotary International Convention in Germany, Silver City Mayor Ken Ladner on July 23 speaking about how Rotary and the Town of Silver City can work together for the betterment of the community and a July 30 meeting where local Rotarians Sunny Yates Kellerman, Peter Falley and Lucy Kavanaugh will report on the recent Rotary International Convention.
