The Silver City Public Library, 515 W. College Ave., will be closed Saturday, July 20, for renovations.

"We are currently embarking on a series of projects aimed at making our building more efficient and respond to community needs," according to a spokesperson. "The windows of our 'Southwest Room' will be replaced with more energy efficient windows. As we always strive to keep our patrons first, we hope to make this renovation with as little inconvenience as possible."

For the safety of both patrons and contractors, the library will be closed only on Saturday July 20, with normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. resuming on the following Monday, July 22. If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact the Library Director at 575-538-3672.
