July 28 – at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street – “The Kingdom—What, Where, How and When”

Local poet Stewart S. Warren will talk about, and lead a discussion on this topic. This lively session will explore the brilliant here-and-now simplicity of this central theological tenet. One of the aspect of the discussion will be to consider the symbol of the cross, its horizontal space-time aspect, its vertical eternal axis, and our place in that as both gate and true identity.

This is a Family Program Sunday and today’s Children's Program is "Faith, Hope, and Prayer." The children will discuss the meanings behind these words and learn that even though people hold different beliefs, we are all still part of the same web of life. They will be introduced to the practice of meditation/reflection, and will make prayer bead necklaces. It's all going to be fun and meaningful, and children over age three are invited to join us!

There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are always welcome.
