August 18, at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street – “Humanism, Science And Idols”

This DVD presentation by Rev. Angela Herrera, Senior Minister of the First Unitarian Church of Albuquerque, will examine Humanism as one of traditional sources of Unitarian Universalism. She said, “At the most basic level, to be a humanist simply means to affirm the worth of every person, and to believe that humans are responsible for their own condition and so must work to better the world.”   Music selections for the service will be performed by Joe Neri.

Although this is not a Family Program Sunday, childcare will be available.

There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are always welcome.
