September 15 at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street  – "Cut Your Waste Grant County"

Allyson Siwik and Jeff Goin will talk about how they responded to the end of curbside recycling in Silver City by teaming up the Gila Resources Information Project and The Lotus Center to form Cut Your Waste Grant County. This public education initiative provides citizens with suggestions for reducing their waste, thus pre-empting the need for recycling, and saving expensive space in our local landfill.
