Monday, Sept. 9

Welfare check
Poplar and Pine streets
Mom is not supposed to have contact with his 8-month-old son and she took him last night. Caller advised the child is a protected party on an active DVO. Officer had negative contact with the baby at a Pine Street address.

Shoplifting
400 Tom Foy Blvd.
A lady stole a pack of cigarettes less than 10 minutes ago, and left west on 180 in a tan car.

Bayard Carwash
Caller advised a male texted her that he wanted to kill himself/not sure where he is. Officer had negative contact with anyone at the carwash/clear.

Cobre High School
Caller advised his mother, about 20 minutes ago, advised that she was ‘done’ and that was the last time she was going to be seen alive/stated she was going to purposely wreck her 2004 gray Dodge Dakota pickup. Officer advised negative contact with this vehicle so far.

Caller advised her 11-year-old brother was hitting her mother and her/caller is outside, he is inside.

Reckless driver
Highway 180 – Bayard
Officer advised vehicle crossed center line once while behind it/female driving from Cruces/possibly just tired.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

Domestic disturbance
Main Street
Caller advised her daughter is harassing her. Can hear daughter yelling in the background. Caller requested LE and hung up. Officer advised negative on a domestic/just a very aggressive daughter at this point/requested ambulance for a female in her 20s/meth and alcohol consumption. EMS clear/patient being transported by LE.

Orchard Street
Caller advised that a 10-year-old handicapped child has locked themselves in the car and they cannot get the doors open/they have been in the car for about 20 minutes and the car is on. Officer advised Bayard Fire unit en route to location/everything is okay/units clear.

Thursday, Sept. 12

Domestic disturbance
Rosemary Street
Caller advised her husband is there and he might be breaking things in the home/she just wants him out of the house. Officer had contact advising clear/both parties advised negative on criminal damage and on physical.

Unwanted subject
Cobre High School
Male had a knife on school property and ran off after giving the knife to the assistant principal/he was wearing all black and left down Joan Street. Officer advised male is a juvi/had contact at the Snappy Mart.

Fight
101 Tom Foy Blvd.
Two males fighting in the parking lot. Officer and deputy advised units clear/parties separated.

Hurley Police Department

Thursday, Sept. 12

Romero Avenue and 2nd Street
Male walking down 2nd Street appears to be in distress. Officer has contact with male on Aztec and 2nd now.

Larceny
N. Bellm Street
Caller advised she has a weed eater and other things missing from her residence.

Suspicious vehicle
S. Prescott Street
Officer advised will be clear/spoke with caller and registered owner of vehicle and they are okay with the vehicle being parked there.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

Fight
N. James and W. Cactus streets
Caller advised there is a fight at this location/they are throwing things at each other. Officer had negative contact with the vehicle or anyone fighting in the area.

Caller advised two kids are riding their bikes in the highway. Officer had contact advising they were advised to stay off the roadway.
