A Blessing of the Animals will take place to commemorate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.  This will occur on Saturday, October 5 on the parking lot behind the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd from 10AM till noon. All of God's creatures are invited to attend and be blessed by an Episcopal priest. A Roman Catholic priest may also be present.
