Grant County Federated Republican Women will meet Monday, October 21, at 11:30 a.m. at the Silver Bowling Center on Memory Lane.  Our special speaker is Rhonda Stockert, President of New Mexico Federated Republican Women.  Rhonda is a solid conservative, who is passionate about what Republican Women can do to help New Mexicans and elect Republicans.  She will also share information about NMFRW history and her vision for the future.  Lunch may be purchased at the Snack Bar on the way into the bowling alley.  Republican women and men are invited and are welcome to bring guests.

GCFRW is co-sponsoring the NRA Refuse To Be A Victim class with Gila Tactical on Saturday, October 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by lunch and practice with virtual laser pistols.  This is offered to women in Grant County as a public service.  The class will teach situational awareness, what to do if you are caught in a situation where you are threatened with violence, how to make your home safer, how avoid a carjacking, and in general, how to be safer at home and in public. This course is free to non-members, but class size is limited.  Please call (575) 313-7997 by noon 10/18 to reserve a seat.
