DEMING – The City of Deming, as part of the Pedestrian Safety Improvements Project occurring on Country Club Road, will have various intersections and roadway closures with detours for the next 6 to 8 weeks.

Beginning Monday, August 28, 2023, lane closures and delays are expected on Country Club Road between Birch Street to Dona Ana Street. Lane closures will be occurring throughout the day, which will include a mobile traffic control signal. After working hours the roadway will be reopened for use.

Alternate routes will be available for affected residents, public school busing routes and emergency services. Property access for residents will be available, please follow all directions of traffic control for your safety and the safety of the construction crew. If you require special access to your residence or have concerns about your access, please contact Deming Excavating Inc’s main office number at (575) 546-7122. The posted detour routes are posted below.
