All are welcome at the seventh annual mesquite milling and potluck to be held at The Commons (501 East 13th Street, Silver City, NM) on Sunday, November 12th from 10am-2pm. Those who have harvested mesquite pods this summer will have the chance to mill them into flour using The Commons’ hammermill. There is a $4/gallon suggested donation for those milling pods. Mesquite pancakes and coffee will be served in addition to a potluck brunch, so bring your favorite dish to share if you like!

Those without mesquite pods to mill are very welcome to come and learn about the process and partake in the potluck.
 
We encourage people to bring garden seeds and surplus produce to exchange with other attendees.
