Bus stop bench/male was found on the ground after he said he wrecked on his bicycle/pain all over his body. Officer requested ambulance for 48-year-old male with pain in his ribs/accident was yesterday.

She does not want the male in the coffee shop/does not know who he is/not causing problems/just not supposed to be there/he's sitting on the couch. Officer advised male has a CTW for the location issued May 28, 2023/male was on the street/he left.

Advised would like a seemingly intoxicated male checked out. Officer advised male was observed leaning against a light pole. HMS staff advised did not want the male removed but would call back if they decided otherwise.

SILVER CITY, NM — Silver City MainStreet Project is excited to announce June's Kick-Ass Entrepreneurs — Silver City (KAE-SC) Story Time featuring Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery. The Entrepreneur Story Time will take place at Power and Light Press, located in The Hub Plaza, 601 N Bullard St, Unit F, in downtown Silver City on Wednesday, June 14th at 5:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
Join the Silver City MainStreet Project at Power and Light Press for Story Time to learn about how the powerhouse couple, Teresa Dahl-Bredine and David Crosley of Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery became Kick-Ass Entrepreneurs! Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery began in a remote lodge and restaurant, located near Lake Roberts, with a nano brewery and distillery in the garage basement. After finding success with this original model for Little Toad Creek, Teresa and David moved the brewery and distillery operations into a larger facility in Silver City and opened their downtown brewpub. Teresa and David also expanded into Las Cruces, opening another brewpub there. In 2020, they started distributing their products throughout New Mexico, and in 2022 and 2023 they expanded distribution of their canned cocktails to five other states. Come learn about all of this and their recent travels to Japan where there is interest and potential to export their canned cocktails to Asia!

Roque Garcia to speak to Rotary

Roque Garcia will be the Rotary speaker on June 13, 2023.
Garcia is the CEO of Border Area Mental Health in New Mexico. Garcia will report on what services are available to those in need in New Mexico. Topic: “Services Provided for Those In Need.”
Garcia has been the CEO of several behavioral health agencies for over 30 years. In 1990 he began as CEO for Border Area Mental Health Services (BAMHS) in Silver City and then moved to Las Cruces to run one of the largest behavioral health agencies in the state. Most recently he led the merger of three large behavioral health agencies under the BAMHS umbrella. Currently the organization sees over 2,400 unduplicated patients per year and provides services locally in Silver City, as well as in Deming, Las Cruces and Anthony.

The Mimbres Booster Club will have their quarterly Bingo at the Roundup Lodge, 91 Acklin Hill Road in San Lorenzo. Everyone is welcome. Kids can play, but their parent must purchase the cards and claim the prizes. Doors open at 12:30 pm.
Cost: 3 regular cards for $12, or 1 card for $6 - this includes 15 regular games plus the Black-out grand prize game.
In additions, there are 6 money games at $1 each game for 3 cards or 50 cent for 1 money game card - winner gets 90% of the pot.
