SANTA FE – Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver has officially certified Michael Hendricks' candidacy for Attorney General of New Mexico, placing his name on the ballot this November.

In a letter to Michael, Oliver writes, "The Bureau of Elections has reviewed your declaration of candidacy, nominating petitions, and certification of registration, and has determined they are in proper order and were timely filed. You have qualified to be a candidate for the office of Attorney General, at the Republican Party's 2018 pre-primary convention."

Michael Hendricks will be the only Republican candidate for Attorney General to appear on the November 6th ballot.

He said he is honored to officially be named a candidate.

"I am humbled and honored by the support of thousands of New Mexicans who have helped me get on the ballot by signing petitions, talking to their neighbors about my candidacy, and donating to my campaign," he said. "But we cannot stop now! I need YOUR help to take this effort across the finish line!

As your next Attorney General, I pledge to you that I will work to unite our state and its leaders, fight crime harder than anyone else, and give every ounce of energy I have to serve you and your family.”
