"I am encouraged that the House and Senate appear to understand the need to significantly increase funding for District Attorney Torrez's office. Now it's time for them to focus and finish the job. It's absolutely essential that our prosecutors have the resources they need to put dangerous criminals off our streets and behind bars where they belong.
