In all construction zones, motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and use extreme caution, as well as continue to be cautious of heavy equipment and construction personnel in the area.

Interstates:

I-10, Mile Marker 84 to 100, Deming 1101630
FNF Construction, INC. (Contractor) will begin Roadway Rehabilitation along Interstate 10. Multiple lane closures will be in effect on both the westbound and eastbound lanes. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, use extreme caution, and be cautious of personnel in the area. Hours of operation will be from 4:30 am to 7:00 pm. Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2018.

 

I-25, Mile Marker 154 to 157.839, Lemitar CN 1100660
Mountain States Constructors, Inc. (Contractor) is continuing with bridge replacement and roadway reconstruction on Interstate 25 in Socorro Co. Interstate traffic is now detoured off of the northbound lane and onto the southbound lane encountering temporary wall barrier along the detour. A 12' width restriction will be in effect throughout the project. Hours of operation will be from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2018.

I-25/University Ave, Mile Marker 1, Las Cruces
CobbFendley (Contractor) will have shoulder work posted on I-25 southbound at mile post 1. University Avenue intersection will have posted lane closures both eastbound and westbound lanes for utility maintenance. Speed limit will be reduced; hours of operation will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with the closure lifted daily, expected completion by Friday March 9th.

 

US Roadways:

US 70, N Main, Solano, 3 Crosses, Mile Markers 149.2 to 149.5, Las Cruces LC000120
AUI, Inc. (Contractor) is currently performing roadway Reconstruction, Lighting and Signalization operations on US 70 / Solano Dr. / 3 Crosses Ave. / N Main St. 3 Crosses Street. Traffic is switched onto the eastbound lanes of Main Street as the westbound lanes are closed for construction. Three Crosses is in its new configuration with all active traffic in the westbound lanes. Spitz/Solano has all traffic in the northbound bound lanes as the southbound lanes are closed for construction. Construction will be from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, 5 days a week, and is scheduled to be completed by spring 2018.

US 70, Mile Marker 162.2, Organ/Las Cruces
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will be installing fencing on the westbound shoulder at mile post 162.2 (Old Organ Main St). Roadway access to Old Organ Main St from US 70 will be permanently closed due to safety concerns. Access onto US 70 will still be provided utilizing 1st Street or Dona Ana County Road D-87. Installation of the fence is scheduled to begin on Wednesday February 28th lasting approximately two days. Motorist are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and use extreme caution, as well as continue to be cautious of heavy equipment and construction personnel in the area.

US 180, Mile Marker 47.4 to 164.4, Cliff, Silver City, Deming CN9900725
San Bar Construction (Contractor) continues with signing and post replacement project along US 180, starting at the intersection of US 180 and NM 159 (Mogollon turn off) and will progress southbound along US 180. Traffic will encounter a flagging operation at times while work is being performed in areas with no shoulder. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Construction is expected to be completed by spring 2018. The contractor has two crews on the project with one crew working south from Milepost 145 to Deming and one crew working in the Silver City area.

State Roadways:

NM 26 "Hatch Hwy", Mile Marker 47 to 47.6, Hatch PCN1101310
Villalobos Construction Company, Inc. (Contractor) will be performing Bridge Preservation operations to NM 26 (Rio Grande Bridge) in Dona Ana County. Traffic will encounter a mobile traffic light along with lane closures and flagging operations while work is being performed. Traffic Control closure will be in affect 24 hours a day till project is complete. Construction hours of operation will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and use extreme caution, and be cautious of personnel in the area.

NM 136" Pete V Domenici Hwy", Mile Marker 0.448 to 9.168, Santa TeresaE100081,82,83
FNF Construction, INC. (Contractor) continues with roadway reconstruction, roadway rehabilitation, bridge rehabilitation, signalization & lighting along NM 136 the Pete V Domenici Intl. Hwy. Traffic will encounter lane closures as well as detours with an 11' width restriction in effect throughout the project. Both the southbound and northbound lanes are limited to a single lane in each direction from Strauss Rd. to Binational Ave. Due to lane closures travel into the port may be more congested. Contractor's hours of operation will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday; lane closures and traffic control shall remain in place 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

NM 498 "Racetrack Drive" Mile Marker 0.600 to 0.900, Sunland Park CN E100140
Hasse Contracting Co., Inc. (Contractor) will continue with bridge replacement and roadway reconstruction. NM 498 will be closed from McNutt to Futurity Drive; detour is in place on Sunland Park Drive. The Contractor's hours of operation will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Construction is scheduled to be completed by summer 2018.

NM 498 "Racetrack Drive" Mile Marker 0.4, Sunland Park HW2M100648
Hasse Contracting Co., Inc. (Contractor) will begin structure preservation for the Rio Grande Bridge. NM 498 will be closed from McNutt to Futurity Drive; detour is in place on Sunland Park Drive. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, use extreme caution, and be cautious of equipment and personnel in the area. Hours of operation will be from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Thursday. Construction is scheduled to be completed by summer 2018.

NM 152 Mile Marker 5 to 6, Hanover
James Hamilton Construction Co. (Contractor) will have lane closures for road work on NM 152 for the construction of the Bebo Arch Structure. Speed limit will be reduced to 20 MPH with a detour in place. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, use extreme caution, and be cautious of personnel in the area. Hours of operation will be from 6:30 am till 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Construction is scheduled to be complete by summer 2018.

NM 152 Mile Marker 31.5 to 32.5, Emory Pass
The New Mexico Department of Transportation is making repairs to the shoulders. Traffic may encounter a temporary flagging operation. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and be cautious of personnel and equipment in the area. Closure will be lifted at approximately 3:00 pm daily lasting until March 1st.

NM 478 Mile Marker 8.7, Vado
Smith & Aguirre Construction (Contractor) will be replacing and repairing sewer/manhole covers. Traffic can expect shoulder work in the area of intersection NM 189. Hours of operation will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Construction is scheduled to be completed by March 18th.

 

Las Cruces Projects – City of Las Cruces:

Arroyo Road
From Red Hawk Golf Road to Sonoma Ranch Blvd will be closed to through traffic. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed and follow detours around the construction zone.

Clark Road
From Valley Drive to Bruins Lane and Bencomo Lane to Clark Road will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Griggs Avenue
From Main Street to Water Street is be closured to traffic. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed, follow the posted detour routes around the construction zone, and should proceed with caution.

Lavender Drive
From Elks Drive to Rio Bravo Way will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Main Street
Amador Avenue to Lohman Avenue is open to through traffic.

Second Street
From Picacho Avenue to W Hadley Avenue will be closured to through traffic. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed, follow the posted detour routes around the construction zone, and should proceed with caution.

Valley View Avenue
From Lavender Drive to 500 feet west will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

W Hadley Avenue
From N Mesilla Street to North Reymond Street will have lanes closed to through traffic. Access to businesses and residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Water Street
From Bowman Avenue to Griggs Street will have one lane closured to traffic. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed, follow the posted detour routes around the construction zone, and should proceed with caution.

El Paso Projects – Go 10/Border West Expressway
