Quemado, NM, April 26, 2018—Campgrounds located in the Quemado Lake Recreation Area will reopen on May 1, 2018 including – Piñon, Juniper and the El Caso I-III Campgrounds.

The El Caso Campgrounds are free and first-come/first-serve. The Piñon and Juniper Campgrounds are fee-based campgrounds. The Juniper CG is first come/first serve and the Piñon CG is available for reservation by calling the Quemado Ranger District at 575-773-4678. Fee information can be found at the forest website or by calling the Quemado RD.
