herbfest 2018 rsAlbuquerque, NM: Join us for an educational, fun family-oriented event at the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Friends of the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park will host Herbfest 2018, a springtime celebration benefiting education at the Nature Center.

Herbfest will highlight fun activities for all to enjoy:

Herbfest offers herbs, wildflowers, and native plants for sale; arts and crafts for sale, and a speaker program. The day will also include guided bird and nature walks, an exciting raffle, crafts for kids, bird ID with the Audubon Society, a biofacts table, and unusual refreshments. The event is free for members of the Friends and for those displaying an annual permit. Parking for others is $3 per vehicle.
