Santa Fe, NM – Officials of the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department, State Parks Division announce that Manzano Mountains State Park, located within the boundaries of the Cibola National Forest, will re-open for use effective Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.

Park visitors are reminded that most state parks are still under various types of fire restrictions, and Manzano Mountains State Park is under the following Stage II Fire Restriction:

Manzano Mountains State Park is an excellent destination for hiking and camping. Nestled in the wooded foothills of the Manzanos, this park provides a quiet retreat and is a nice family get-away. Wildlife viewing, birding and photography are great activities at the park.
