Kingston: The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office (NMDOT) has posted an alert for Thursday July 19, 2018:

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will have crews on the roadway on July 19th for a maintenance operation project to perform chip seal on NM 152 (Black Range). During this time NM 152 will be CLOSED at milepost 21 (approximately 5 miles east of San Lorenzo) and milepost 39 (Kingston) from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm, reopening nightly. Traffic is expected to detour daily during these times. As always, emergency personal responding in the area can call District Staff for access.

In all construction zones, motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and use extreme caution, as well as continue to be cautious of heavy equipment and construction personnel in the area. For updated information go to: New Mexico Department of Transportation at www.nmroads.com.
