Washington, DC – Congressman Steve Pearce applauded the passage and signing of the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, which will provide further job skills and opportunities for Americans looking for work. Congressman Pearce released the following statement:
 
"This legislation is critical to the people of New Mexico. I am proud to have supported it and look forward to its immediate implementation. This bill will provide the proper training for more workers to find jobs. For years, I have fought to give people the skills and opportunities they need to get a good paying job and this is a great step in that direction. By passing this legislation we will provide the resources needed to enable unemployed and underemployed New Mexicans with the training that is necessary to find meaningful work to support themselves and their families. I am pleased the House and Senate worked together to pass such an important piece of legislation for American workers."
