Washington, D.C. (October 10, 2018) Today, Congressman Steve Pearce mourns the loss and celebrates the life of long-time New Mexico State Representative, Larry Larrañaga.

“Cynthia and I are deeply saddened by the passing of well-respected New Mexico State Representative, Larry Larrañaga, who served in the New Mexico House for 24 years. Larry and I met while having the honor of serving in the State Legislature together on the House Appropriations Committee. He and his wife, Charletta, have been our immediate and good friends ever since. My respect for Larry runs deep—he had a good sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and keen insights; he never lost sight of his principles and was a gentleman in every debate against an opponent. I have no doubt that he will be greatly missed by the rest of the New Mexico Legislaure. He will most certainly be missed by me, personally.”
