The master’s program in Education Administration has been named one of the top online master’s programs by OnlineMasters.com, an online rankings website that researches graduate programs in the U.S.

The website also ranked the Education Administration program, offered by the NMSU College of Education’s School of Teacher Preparation, Administration, and Leadership, as the best for multicultural leadership careers.

“This speaks to the amazing work that the program is doing and demonstrates to our 100,000 monthly visitors that it provides quality education that can help students with their career aspirations,” said Barbara Montgomery, program recognition manager for OnlineMasters.com, which is based in Seattle, Washington.

The website ranked NMSU 49th out of 50 universities that offer an online master’s degree in Education Administration.

“I feel that our Educational Leadership and Administration program is leading the college with their successful online courses,” said Susan Brown, interim dean of the NMSU College of Education. “The program is very well organized and the faculty makes sure the online courses offered meet the needs of the students, as well as preparing them for their future positions.”

“We are honored to receive this distinction. The Educational Leadership and Administration Program has exceptionally dedicated, student-centered faculty and staff as well as thoughtful rising leaders for students,” said Azadeh Osanloo, co-director of the School of Teacher Preparation, Administration, and Leadership and faculty in the Educational Leadership and Administration program.

In 2016, the Educational Leadership doctoral program was ranked seventh in the country by Educational Leadership Degree Programs, a national rankings website.
