Colfax County, NM - On November 7, 2018 just after midnight the New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal crash on U.S. 64 at about mile post 282 near Eagle Nest.  

The initial investigation indicated a 1998 Subaru driven by Pahana Scott Quintanilla (46) of Taos, was traveling on U.S. 64, for reasons unknown, Quintanilla lost control, rolled, and was ejected. Quintanilla sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator. 

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor and seatbelts were not properly utilized. No additional information is available at this time.
