Richard Holcomb, Founder of CliffDweller Digital, has added two key executives as the company prepares for the next phase of its growth. David Marx is joining CliffDweller as President/Chief Marketing Strategist, and Gina Marx will serve as Chief Operating Officer.

“I’ve known David and Gina for many years,” said Richard. “In fact, David is the guy who helped launch my career in the video production business! As we enter our 16th year of business in New Mexico, it became clear to me that strengthening our management team with nationally-recognized television and video professionals was something I needed to do. David and Gina will be a big plus to our clients, and, quite frankly, to the New Mexico video and television industry as a whole.”

Mr. Marx owned the largest television and video production company in Wisconsin for more than 25 years, and it was there, in Milwaukee, that Richard and David met. His company, Marx Creative, was the head tactical-broadcast marketing agency and production company for Walgreens’ national account for 19 years. In addition to producing hundreds of commercials for the Walgreens brand, Marx was also the Executive Producer of Health Corner, a nationally-televised series sponsored by Walgreens, Johnson & Johnson and Kraft Foods. “David’s breadth of industry knowledge and his passion for helping clients build their businesses is unparalleled,” Holcomb said.

Gina Marx is the Executive Director of the “Bobby Norris Roundup for Autism,” one of the premier charities in Texas, designated a “Top Five Charities” by D Magazine. Gina brings a wealth of marketing, event-management and organizational skills to CliffDweller. “David and I have been in love with New Mexico for a long time, and this opportunity to work with Richard in helping him grow his extraordinary company just couldn’t be passed up,” remarked Ms. Marx.

“CliffDweller has several exciting new projects in development and we’ll be making announcements about them soon,” added Mr. Marx. “New Mexico is already one of the premier video and television production hubs in America, and we are perfectly positioned to help our clients grow through the video and television products we offer now, together with those in the pipeline. Gina and I are thrilled to work side by side with Richard to help build on CliffDweller’s exceptional market position.”

“CliffDweller is attracting new projects to New Mexico from out of state,” said Richard. “The Marx’s move here brings us business from Texas, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Plus, their joining the company allows me, as CEO, to focus on the strategic growth of the company, building new relationships and pursuing new opportunities, which are popping up almost daily.”

Janine Sjostrom will continue to serve as CliffDweller’s Creative Director on new and existing projects, while also operating CliffDweller Media (CD Media), a sister company of CliffDweller Digital.

CliffDweller Digital’s studios are located in Rio Rancho.  The company specializes in producing traditional and drone video for online and on-air applications.  For the past several years, CliffDweller has produced the three-time Emmy award-winning television series New Mexico True Television, a weekly travel show produced in conjunction with the New Mexico Tourism Department. And, 2019 marks the ninth year of CliffDweller’s highly-regarded Who Rocks New Mexico! weekly television series airing at 8am, Sundays on KOB-4. Past CliffDweller TV productions include HomeBuilders’ Gallery, Travel Guide New Mexico, Southwest Hot Chefs and Restaurants and Wolf Daddy’s Pack Life.

The company consistently ranks as one of New Mexico’s top Veteran-Owned Companies and has been singled out as one of New Mexico’s Top 100 businesses, Top Film and Video Production Companies and in the upper 1% of the America’s Most Honored Businesses.
