Wrongly Displays DHS-ICE , CHI St. Joseph’s Children Caller ID Compromised and Incorrectly Shows Department of Homeland Security-ICE

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - CHI St. Joseph’s Children caller ID has been compromised and reads Department of Homeland Security-ICE when calling homes and businesses from office phones. This is deterring people from answering their phone and denying them the opportunity to receive the free services that CHI St. Joseph’s Children provides to families in seven counties across New Mexico. Because of this, families do not have access to critical case management services that CHI St. Joseph’s Children provides and therefore are not being connected to food, medical services, housing or other crucial services. CHI St. Joseph’s Children supports immigrant children and their families regardless of status and this has had a chilling effect across the community. This occurrence has impacted their well-being as well as the well-being of the entire community. This situation is currently under investigation.

CHI St. Joseph’s Children is the largest provider of home visiting services in New Mexico delivering a curriculum of health, well-being and school readiness to first time parents and is the operator of enhanced referral/case management services. CHI, Catholic Health Initiatives, is CHI St. Joseph’s Children national parent, operating hospitals in 22 states. CHI St. Joseph’s Children is the continuing legacy work of former St. Joseph Hospitals.

If you were expecting a phone call from CHI St. Joseph’s Children, you can reach them at (505) 924-8000.
