Thursday April 4, 2019 at 7:00 pm, in Schieffelin Hall, Tombstone, AZ where local writer Soni Cido will be telling us about William “Billy” Fourr.

William ranched and served as agent at the Butterfield Stage stop. Billy and his wife had many children but only eight of them survived to adulthood. Come hear about his life as a Pioneer in the state of Arizona.

While Soni loves dreaming up fictional stories, she has studied Southwest History for many years and was taken to one Pioneer in particular. Her first work, "The Remarkable Billy Fourr", is featured in the 2017 Cochise County Historical Journal 50th Anniversary edition and can be found on, "William "Billy" Fourr" Facebook page.

The Corral meets at 7 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at Schieffelin Hall, Fremont St. at 4th, Tombstone. Come and see this wonderful, historic theater built in 1882. There is an optional 5-ish pre-meeting dinner at the Longhorn Restaurant, Allen St., Tombstone. Call or email ahead so we can tell the restaurant how many to expect.
