Interstate 10 (Mile Post 133 to 164), Las Cruces, NM to Texas State Line

Las Cruces: The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office (NMDOT) has posted an alert for Monday March 25, 2019:

Las Cruces Barricade (Traffic Control) along with Apache Construction (Contractor) will continue with installation of guardrail along Interstate 10 in Dona Ana Co. Traffic will encounter lane drops at times with eastbound and westbound exits closed off to all traffic as needed. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and use extreme caution, and be cautious of personnel in the area. Construction hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and is expected to be completed by June 2019.

Beginning Monday 3/25/2019 at 7:00 am, the I-25 ramp to I-10 westbound will be closed to traffic for placement of pavement and new guardrail. Traffic will have to detour to the University exit (MP 1) or Mesquite exit (MP 151) to access I-10 westbound.  Advanced warning signage will be in place. Closures are scheduled to be lifted by 3/27/2019 if not sooner.
