Unique Events:

Monday July 1, School of Rock (Colorado) Summer Tour 2019, Experience the school that inspired the movie!  School of Rock is the largest after-school music education program in the United States. The school has "the ultimate goal of performing live in front of real crowds" and the official motto of the school is "To inspire the world to rock…on stage and in life".  The most skilled students in each school form a band and play concerts in their city, and the top students from each school compete to become a member of an "All-Star" band and tour regionally. School of Rock (Colorado) Summer Tour 2019, KTAOS Solar Center, Monday July 1, 7PM, $10, Kids 12 & Under FREE.

Friday July 5, The Rifters, The Rifters will be in the house performing some legendary Taos Country Music! Don Richmond, Rod Taylor, and Jim Bradley make up this country trio with beautiful three part harmonies and music ranging from driving bluegrass to ethereal desert beauty!  The Rifters are well known for keeping the crowd moving so when you come out this Friday night, be sure to bring you dancing shoes! 7PM Doors, 8PM Showtime, $10 general admission, all ages welcome with parent/guardian supervision.

Every Monday,  The KTAOS Solar Center will once again be hosting the exciting music series entitled “Off the Cuff Live”, music begins at 7pm SHARP.  $5 Cover. Be Early!  This is a live recording, doors close at 7PM. “Off the Cuff Live” features local artists performing music from different chart-topping musicians. The show is recorded live, to be re-broadcast on KTAOS Solar 101.9 FM the following Sunday at 6pm.  “Off the Cuff Live” is an all ages show, from 7pm-8pm.

Thursday (July 18 & 25) Cullen Winter's Rhythm and Bluesmobile returns to performing in Taos, N.M. after a 2 and 1/2 year hiatus. Consisting of Cullen Winter on guitar and vocals, Dan Lizdas on piano and Hammond B3, Rick Halterman on Bass and Matt Billinger on drums, the band pumps out inspired blues shuffles, swings, rhumbas, funky fusion, and gritty soul grooves. Cullen Winter's Rhythm and Bluesmobile, 7-9pm, $5. 

On Fridays, KTAOS Solar Cinema! We will be showing a movie on a giant 20ft screen with theatre quality audio! Bring blankets, pillows, and pajamas and get comfortable! This is a no-babysitter-needed kind of evening so bring the whole family!  Sponsored by Video Casa of Taos. 6PM - Free - All Ages (with parent/guardian supervision).
