(Albuquerque, N.M.) – Today, New Mexico Society of Association Executives (NMSAE) announced new officers and members to its 2019-2020 Board of Directors. The 2019-2020 Board is comprised of 11 current and new members.

NMSAE members elected Kent Cravens, Executive Vice President of the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS, to serve as President of the organization for the 2020 fiscal year. “I’m looking forward to furthering NMSAE’s mission of promoting the success and professional growth of association professionals across New Mexico,” Cravens said.  “At the heart of the association community are people whose expertise and hard work collectively create a stronger New Mexico.”

NMSAE Executive Director, Jason Espinoza, said, “Associations play a critical role in society, from creating industry standards of quality and safety, to training a strong workforce, to offering expertise that creates better policy, and so much more.”

In addition to the role of President, members also elected the following officers to serve one-year terms, beginning July 1, 2019:

·Ty Trujillo, Executive Director of New Mexico Association of Community Colleges, will serve as Vice-President·Christine Lung, CAE, Vice President of Government Relations of American Society of Radiologic Technologists, will serve as Secretary·Carol Wight, Chief Executive Officer of New Mexico Restaurant Association, will serve as Treasurer·Daniel Ivey-Soto, Executive Director of New Mexico Clerks, will serve as Immediate Past Chair

The following members have been elected to serve two-year terms on the Board:

·Ronda Gilliland Lopez, Mechanical Contractors Association of New Mexico·Joani Jones, Crowne Plaza Albuquerque·Carla Kugler, Associated Builders and Contractors – New Mexico·Meggin Lorino, New Mexico Association of Home and Hospice Care

The following member has been elected to serve a one-year term on the Board:

·Mike Puelle, Associated General Contractors – New Mexico Chapter

The following member will continue his two-year term until June 30, 2020:

·Ralph McClish, New Mexico Osteopathic Medical Association
