SANTA FE – Furnishings removed from the governor’s mansion will be available for sale to the public Thursday at the State Surplus warehouse in Santa Fe.

The furnishings include a kitchen table with chairs, dressers, side tables, lamps, coffee table, lounging chair, framed prints and knick-knacks. The items were sent to State Surplus after Gov. Susana Martinez left office at the end of 2018.

About a dozen government vehicles also will be available at the monthly public sale of the State Surplus Bureau. Other items available include knives surrendered to the federal Transportation Security Administration at Albuquerque International Sunport.

State Surplus is located at 1990 Siringo Road. Hours for the public sale are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Property sent to State Surplus by government agencies becomes available for public sale 90 days after receipt if no other agency or nonprofit organization purchases it.

State Surplus holds its public sale the last Thursday of every month.
