Las Cruces: The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One (NMDOT) will begin pavement preservation work on I-10 eastbound from milepost 129 (6 miles west of Las Cruces) to milepost 144(I-10/I-25).

Starting Tuesday Night September 17, 2019 - Braiser Asphalt (Contractor) will begin the milling and repaving of the top layer of asphalt along I-10. Lane closures will be in effect on both the eastbound and westbound lanes with a 12’ width restriction. Hours of operation will be from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am, Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2019.  The NMDOT would like to thank you for your patience during this project.

Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and be cautious of personnel and equipment in the area. Traffic Advisories and updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road conditions website at http://nmroads.com/.
