PNM CEO Pat Vincent-Collawn selected for her exceptional contributions to the community

(Albuquerque, N.M.) – Last week, Governor Michelle Lujan-Grisham announced PNM CEO Pat Vincent-Collawn as a recipient of the Governor’s New Mexico Distinguished Public Service Award. This award recognizes Collawn for her exceptional contributions to public service and the community.

“Pat’s contributions toward the state’s environmental future and economic development and her impact on local community needs is immeasurable. These contributions exemplify Pat’s philosophy of how, by working together, we can accomplish great things. She is well-deserving of this recognition. For anyone who knows Pat, they a know a person with a brilliant mind, a huge heart and a fun nature. She gives her all to everything she works on and has a humble spirit with a willingness to jump in to help those in need,” Sherman McCorkle, President & CEO, Technology Ventures Corporation.

At the PNM headquarters, Pat’s genuine nature to help others is seen in her interactions with employees. She is the type of CEO who, when learning that an employee’s dog lost his leg, hand delivered sweaters that her beloved three-legged pooch Luc wore during his recovery.

Pat is also known for her lighthearted humor. After a positive employee message, she shared her fun nature with all 1,500 employees by emailing a smiling cat emoji with heart eyes. Now, when anyone receives a cat emoji from Pat, they consider it an A+ accolade.

Pat and the other nine awardees will be celebrated during a banquet on November 13.
