Annual Subaru Share the Love® Event helps make wishes come true

Albuquerque, NM 10/28/19– Garcia Subaru North is hosting a family friendly Spooky Fiesta to support Make-A-Wish® New Mexico. The fiesta is on Tuesday, October 29th from 5-7pm and will include Halloween activities, costumes, and of course trick-or-treating for Wish kids and children from the community. The party is open to the public. Garcia Subaru North is located at 6401 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.

The Spooky Fiesta will generate excitement and kick-off the annual Subaru Share the Love® Event which runs Nov. 14, 2019, through Jan. 2, 2020. During this time, for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased, Subaru will donate $250 to a participating national or local charity chosen by the purchaser or lessee. Make-A-Wish America is one of the four national charities for the ninth consecutive year. Retailers can select Hometown Charity partners from their local community in which customers can direct their support. Garcia Subaru North selected Make-A-Wish New Mexico for their hometown charity and will match Subaru of America’s donation to the chapter. The Share the Love® Event provides Subaru lovers the opportunity to transform the life of a child battling a critical illness through a wish come true. Last year alone, Subaru donated more than $3.6 million to Make-A-Wish. Make-A-Wish New Mexico received $30,000 last year from their partnership with Garcia Subaru North and Subaru of America.

“We are thrilled to once again partner with Garcia Subaru North for Subaru’s Share the Love® Event. Garcia Subaru North is an active partner in the community and together, we will create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses,” said Sara Lister, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish New Mexico.”
