PNM Resources Foundation 40th anniversary celebrated by world-renowned American troupe and local student-led performance Forty-four nonprofit grant recipients of $700,000 recognized (Albuquerque, NM) – PNM Resources Foundation is proud to announce its 40th anniversary with a commitment to give back to the community it serves. The Foundation awarded $700,000 in grants to 44 nonprofits that have demonstrated a commitment to important issues around education, inclusion, the environment, and community vitality. Artrageous, a world-renowned American troupe, celebrated the foundation's significant contributions to communities with a student-led performance and live art installation from Artrageous Artreach camp kids over the weekend at the African American Performing Arts Center in Albuquerque.
"As we celebrate 40 years of giving, we are reminded of the importance and responsibility of supporting the community" said Laurie Roach, PNM Resources Foundation executive director. "Artreach gives audiences and children a positive experience that changes their lives for the better. The Foundation is so honored and impressed by the incredible work done to showcase our Foundation's values in such a beautifully expressive way."

"We so appreciate its attention and help in giving the kids such a valuable and much needed opportunity for a different, positive experience in their lives."

PNM Resources Foundation has been committed to supporting nonprofits in the communities it serves since its inception in 1983. Over the years, the Foundation has awarded millions of dollars in grants to organizations that work to improve the quality of life for people PNM serves across New Mexico and PNM's sister company, Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) in Texas.
