Lois Frances Bryant, 97, a longtime resident of Deming passed away Saturday July 22, 2017 at her home.

Lois was born February 5, 1920 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to David and Gertrude (Hedrick) Gray. She came to Deming with her family in 1935. Lois lived in California for a short time and eventually she moved to Las Cruces where she worked as a Clerk with the New Mexico Income Support Division until her retirement. She always considered Deming home and came back in 1999 to be near her family. Lois was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Norman Pelayo and wife Dot of Tucson, their daughters Kathy Pelayo and children, Brandi Allgood and Olivia Osborn, Brenda Huffman and daughter Valerie Huffman. Her daughter Virginia Marcak of Deming and children, Brad Marcak and children Kristen Grado and husband Will and their daughter Ryleigh Grado, Nikki Marcak, and Tony Cabello. Terri Austin and husband Tom and children Caitlin and Josh Austin. Lori Molina and husband Daniel and their son Julian Molina. Her sister Margie Madlock of Deming.

Family and friends will celebrate her life on Monday July 31, 2017 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Mason Davis and Mr. Tom Austin officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tom and Josh Austin, Brad Marcak, Allen Myers, Will Grado and Norman Pelayo.
