Olivia "Libby" Lewis, 80, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at her residence.

She was born January 28, 1937 in Gila, NM to Rufino Ogas and Juanita Medrano.

She is survived by her seven sons, Leroy Lewis of Silver City; Billy Ray Lewis and wife Debbie of Silver City; Jerry Lewis (Patty) of Las Cruces; Rick Lewis and wife Ana of Silver City; Alfred Lewis and wife Rose of Silver City; Pat Lewis of Silver City; Ronnie Lewis of Silver City; two daughters, Debbie Chapin of Silver City; Denise Jaurequi and husband Ruben of Silver City; twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jay Lewis; one brother, Sammy Ogas; son-in-law, Rudy Chapin.

Visitation will be Friday, August 11 from 5-6 pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to begin at 6 pm with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 12 at 10:00 am at St.Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Oliver Obele officiating. Concluding service an interment will follow at Gila Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.

Pallbearers will be Ruben Jaurequi, LeRoy, Billy Ray, Jerry, Rick, Alfred, Pat, Ronnie Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
