Cayetano Licano, 74, Columbus resident passed away Monday August 14, 2017 at Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Cayetano was born November 30, 1942 to Eduwiges Iturralde and Cayetano Licano in San Jose de Nava, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a laborer in the agriculture and a member of the Jehovah's Witness.

He is survived by wife, Maria de la Luz Licano of the home; sons, Felizardo Licano and wife Ofelia, Cayetano Licano and wife Carmen, Valente Licano and wife Nancy and Mario Licano and wife, Teresa; daughter, Maria Antonia Licano and husband, Oscar; brother, Luis Licano; sisters, Silvia, Eduwiges and Aurelia Licano; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Cayetano was preceded in death by parents, Cayetano and Eduwiges Licano.

Visitation will be Wednesday August 16, 2017 at 10 o'clock in the morning at the Columbus Community Center. Funeral service will follow at 2 o'clock and concluding services and interment will take place at Valley Heights Cemetery. Arturo Martinez will officiate.
