eleanor brumbach rsEleanor Maxine Brumbach, age 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Reno, Nevada.

She was born December 21, 1928 in Reserve, New Mexico to John Duncan Fraser and Ola McCarty Fraser. She grew up in Reserve, New Mexico and Silver City, New Mexico.

Eleanor married Hal Raymond Brumbach on January 14, 1954 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After moving with her husband to various Air Force Bases, they settled in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1964. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2011.

Eleanor loved being a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed caring for her yard, planting flowers and mowing the lawn (as recently as last summer). She loved road trips, family reunions and taking her little dog to Starbucks for a "Pup-achinoā€¯. She will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness and for her love of family.

Eleanor is survived by her son, Jeff (Susie) Brumbach of Lake Tahoe, NV; two daughters: Traci McCarty of Ranger, TX; Tamara Marx of Las Vegas, NV; ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a brother, John Duncan Fraser II of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Rogers, Margaret Edna (Peggy) Pobar, Lillian Duncan Wilson and Catherine Elizabeth Hedges.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at 1:20 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, NV.
