bobbi jameson rsBarbara R. (Lock) Jameson, 69, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 30th, at her home in Hurley, NM. Known to all as Bobbi, she is survived by her beloved husband Charlie, sons Shane Jameson and John Ross, daughter Shelli Allison, brother Kory Lock, eight grandchildren, Abigail, Jeffrey and Joey Ross, Joshua and Tyler Bollinger, Shealynn Allison, and Dara and Bailee Jameson. She also had seven great-grandchildren and a great-grandson on the way. She also leaves behind a large extended family, as well as four spoiled chihuahuas whom she loved very much.

While it is impossible to condense a life so fully lived, some of her favorite pastimes included fishing, cheering on her Dallas Cowboys, dancing and riding motorcycles with her husband and friends. She loved making people laugh with her little jokes, crazy hats and outfits, and dances. Bobbi was born on the Fourth of July and always enjoyed the fireworks and celebrations. Everyone was family to Bobbi and she made sure they knew it. Mostly, she loved spending time with her grandbabies. Bobbi was a good wife and grandma, but she was a great “Mom.” She will be dearly missed by all that were fortunate enough to have known her.

A potluck celebration of Bobbi’s life will be held at Bill Evans Lake at Noon on Saturday, September 23, 2017. The family invites you to attend and try to catch a fish in Bobbi’s name. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations in care of the Silver City Elks Lodge, #413.
