karen decker rsKaren Lynn Decker, 63, Deming resident passed away Sunday October 29, 2017 at Willow Manor at Deming, NM.

Karen was born April 27, 1954 to JoAnn Stock and Jackie Warren Barton in Farmington, New Mexico. She spent most of her teen years in Los Angeles, CA and graduated from the Practical Nursing School. Karen moved to Bloomfield, NM in 1976 and was employed with Giant Refinery for many years until her retirement in 2005. She reunited with her childhood sweetheart, Daniel Decker in 2008 and moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin until his death in 2014 when she relocated to Deming, NM to be near her mother. She loved traveling, shopping, dancing, art projects and most of all spending time with her family. She will forever be remembered as a loving and trusting person.

She is survived by her father, Jackie W. Barton and his wife Nita Jo of Flora Vista, NM; her mother, JoAnn Barton of Deming, NM; daughters, Dianna Kay Scruggs and Katherine Lynn Madison both of Tucson, AZ, Leticia Joy Ryno of Deming, NM, Tamara Leigh Martinez of Las Cruces, NM; son, Antonio "Tony" Joseph Ramos of Deming, NM; sisters, Patricia Salazar and husband Chris of Clifton, CO, Debora "DJ" Nelson and husband Tom of Deming, NM; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Karen was preceded in death by spouse, Daniel David Decker and granddaughter, Christy Kay Ryno.

No service will take place as were her wishes. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
